Thank you for your frequent and sincere support, cooperation and valuable proposals. Presently Tachikawa City promotes city planning from the standpoint of the citizen living a life of value and hope. To actualize the plan, in 2009 fiscal year, we tackle administrative problems by applying six core policies; "promotion of a basic plan", "improvement of welfare and the health", "creating an environment for living", "promotion of education and culture", "urban renewal" and "promotion of industry". For Tachikawa to be reborn, citizen communication and cooperation are essential, and the sharing of information and further improvement of communication are required.

We are devoted to actualizing a move to a "communicaty-oriented, richer greener, healthier Tachikawa" while considering "city planning through citizen power and cooperation" as the theme. The basic stance of municipal administration is "don't hesitate, don't falter, but go carefully". By integrating wisdom, we will do our best to achieve sustainable municipal administrative management.
